Tony DeSoto

TONY DeSOTO grew up in a home where parents read to him and drove him to bookstores and the library. He developed a love for reading and telling stories.

He started by creating puppet shows and illustrated tales on loose-leaf paper, then presenting them to his family at “movie nights” with complimentary popcorn and soda in Dixie cups. He graduated to putting on plays and making home movies with friends.

Growing up in church, Tony learned the great stories of the Bible. His love for books and movies inspired him to imagine biblical events as exciting, adventure stories. Not hard to do since that’s really what they are anyway!

Tony is a music instructor at the Groove School of Music in Sugar Land, Texas. He has led worship in churches most of his life. And he plays bass guitar and keyboard in the Houston tribute-music scene.

He has two young-adult children and a grandson, Thomas, who takes after his Pawpaw by creating his own stories, usually involving dragons and dinosaurs.

Tony lives in Pasadena, Texas, with his lovely wife Martha.
