Greg Scott

Author D. Greg Scott spends weekdays helping the world’s largest open source software company support the world’s largest organizations. He spends nights and weekends researching ways to hijack trucks, blow up buildings, launch cyberattacks, groom vulnerable people, and improve his writing. Since his friends tell him he is probably on a government watch list, Greg suggests that the hard-working, good-looking, overworked, and underpaid government agents watching his internet movements buy copies of his novels for everyone in their departments before it’s too late.

Greg also has an irreverent streak that shows up in his characters. Especially when they’re navigating bureaucracy.

During the 1990s, he wrote a popular back-page column with IT industry publication, ENT Magazine. He was also a pioneer ferreting out online grooming. In 1994, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and savior. He published “Bullseye Breach” in 2015, “Virus Bomb” in 2019, and “Trafficking U” in 2024. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, granddaughter, two grandsons, and various 4-legged creatures that come and go.

Fun facts – hmmm…

One time – maybe 2024 – I beat a bunch of teenagers at church in a raw egg eating contest. As I recall, I downed 24 raw eggs. Nobody else came close. Raw eggs are good. So is raw beef. Coffee and chili are  gross. So are mushrooms.

Jesse Jonsen spent her entire adult life atoning for her teenage years as a thief by fighting financial predators as a fraud analyst. Now, after a long week, it’s the Friday before Superbowl LII and Jesse just wants to finish her latte. Let the football crazies own downtown Minneapolis for the weekend.

And then Leilani, trying to escape from her “boyfriend,” barges into Jesse’s life. That chance encounter will plunge Jesse past her limits into war with an international sex trafficking ring.

The sex trafficking industry generates billions of dollars, enslaves millions of people, and thrives by spewing lies across the internet. Jesse has an idea to fight back that just might work. But first, she must survive. And confront her own life choices. AMAZON
