Sixteen-year-old Eliza has accepted her life as a Hebrew slave. She believes no one truly sees her, hears her, or loves her. Still, she finds joy working beside her sister in the wealthy Ameneten household. Although she feels unworthy of love, she freely gives it to others. Secretly, she loves her master’s oldest son, Seti, though he has no idea.
When Moses returns to Egypt to lead the Hebrews to freedom, Eliza dares to pray to the God her mother once told her about. She asks Him for Seti’s love—but only if Seti turns from Egypt’s false gods and follows the one true God.
As God hardens Pharaoh’s heart, He begins to soften Seti’s. God pursues him with a love he has never known. At the same time, Eliza discovers that God sees her, hears her, and calls her worthy of love.
Experience the Exodus through the eyes of Eliza and Seti. Their journey reveals a powerful love story between God and His people, God and Seti, and Seti and Eliza.
Eliza believes happiness has finally arrived. She and her family have escaped Egypt, and they will never face separation again. Together with the Israelites, they begin their journey to a land flowing with milk and honey—a place they can finally call home. Even better, Seti, the man she loves, has left Egypt behind. He has pledged his life to her God and promised to marry her.
But freedom brings unexpected challenges. A severe concussion caused by Seti leaves Eliza struggling to adjust. Her family and fellow Israelites constantly argue, and Seti can’t seem to stay out of trouble. As the journey grows harder, Eliza questions her place among God’s people. Who is she now? And what does it truly mean to live as a free woman?
Seti once believed he had everything. As an Egyptian, he enjoyed wealth, status, and security. Then he gave it all up for Eliza and the God of Israel. Now he lives as an outcast with no money, no home, and no way to prove himself worthy of Eliza’s family or her people. For the first time in his life, fear and insecurity take hold. He fears losing Eliza. Even more, he fears disappointing the God who rescued him. Yet every choice he makes seems to create another disaster.
