Dr. Andrew Vassall profile image  Hello everyone! My name is Dr. Andrew Vassall and I am a driven educator dedicated to teaching the youth, professionals, and communities that I serve. I am a 2023 semi-finalist for the Pennsylvania Teacher of The Year Award which was truly an honor to be selected. During my earlier years in Urban Education, I developed a thirst for knowledge in the area of literacy. The depth of knowledge that I obtained in the area of literacy allowed me to better support my students who were reading at a grade deficit. Through this journey, I developed a skill in storytelling which allowed me to share my students’ stories so their voices could be heard.
