Life-changing experiences of God’s grace and redemptive power influence Columba Booth’s fiction. After exiting a spiritually abusive group, Columba navigated an unwanted divorce and raised her beautiful children alone for two decades. Through it all, her desire to write novels never waned.
That dream finally flourished when God sent Paul, with his gentle eyes, strong shoulders, and brilliant engineer mind.
“You should write,” he said, soon after their wedding. “I’ll do the cooking.”

Columba is planning her next novel—possibly a sequel. Currently, she writes contemporary women’s fiction, but she would also love to develop stories for young adults.
She and Paul are cleaning up a house in a redwood forest, with a view of the ocean. Columba is planning a library for their thousands of books. She and Paul often visit their eight grown—and very far-flung—children and five grandchildren.
